Astaen is the god of the Sun and knowledge, a younger brother of Illia. He also is invoked as the deity of the illuminative nature of law and order. Astaen is a great and honorable warrior, and the father of chivalry. He rises each morning to chase away the dangers of the night and is often called the Light Bringer or Morning Lord.

Astaen is a member of the Original Pantheon.
